1. We may be having difficulty deciphering your email address. If you have not received our updates, but haven't changed your email address, please contact us so that we can check our database information.
2. If you have internet service through centurytel.net, we are unable to send our updates to you due to their refusal of our mail. We have checked with our provider, and they say that the issue is on Centurytel's end. If you wish to receive mail from us, please contact them personally about issue resolution.
3. Have you changed your email address lately? We have had a number of "no such mailbox" messages. If you think you may changed your email address since joining our team, please contact us so that we can check your record within our database.
4. We underwent several hardware crashes towards the beginning of our deputation and lost a number of email addresses. If you joined FIT via the web between 6-1-08 through 7-15-08, we ask that you please contact us, as we no longer have your information.
FIT isn't just about us, our ministry, our needs...it's about you, too. A team works together, caring about the other members. We want to support you by giving 'all' of our members a chance to pray for your need (imagine, hundreds of people praying for your request). The Word says "where two or three agree..." We have more than two or three members in FIT; why not give them a chance to support you in prayer? We challenge you to trust God, and us, with your request. Then, once He answers, let us know so that we can share your good news with your team members! Email your prayer request now, and trust that He will answer.
Our family has been apart for nearly a month as the girls have been resting in California. They will be traveling to meet us in Texas on Monday, 11/17, and we ask that you pray for safety and blood covering over our family's travel as they fly, and we drive, to meet at the appointed time and place.
We are entering the holiday season when the hustle and bustle of the holidays seems to pull on all of us. Our family will continue to conduct missions services until mid-December. November 30 will mark the end of a full nine months on the road, and Finland is still waiting for truth. We ask that you join with us in believing for a continued rise in both churches and individuals who will choose to join TEAM FINLAND as Equippers.
From Glenda - "I am claiming a healing! Since the fall of 2005, I have been continually dealing with an intestinal condition that has affected me in multiple ways (food choices, stress, "horrible" bloating, etc.); at times, it has required medication to keep it under control. During a service at the beginning of July (although while I've tried to pin down the location in my memory, I've been unsuccessful because we've been in so many), God spoke to me and told me that He was going to heal me. It wasn't a "miracle," as there was no immediate outward sign, so I continued to watch my diet, etc. Honestly, I had shrugged it off as being in my mind as simply being wishful thinking, as all of the symptoms continued to persist and even worsen! While in Louisiana, I grew tired of having to always avoid new choices, so I decided to experience the Cajun food that was available. There was absolutely no adverse reaction. So, I tried Italian, Mexican...there has been no intestinal inflammation, bloating, or pain; my body is back to normal! Whew, how exciting this healing is for me. Nearly three years of it...to bother me no more! Thank you, Jesus - you are incredibly awesome!"
Also, thank you for praying for our sinuses! For those who do not suffer from any type of allergy, you most likely do not understand the aggravation and frustration that "messed-up" sinuses can cause. But, for those who do, you know what it's like to suffer from the effects of cottonweed, mold, and any other manner of allergy. We are happy to report that we are much improved, thanks to your prayers! (Please keep that request covered, as we tend to encounter different issues in different states. Until God sees fit to heal all of us from this problem, we will continue to require the touch of His hand.)

Something special happened during our first service in Indiana. The pastor asked that we simply share our burden; Mark had barely spoken for 10 minutes when there were two separate messages in tongues. Both interpretations spoke directly to God's calling on our family, of our willingness to go, of the bride that He will have in Finland, and of the hungry souls that are there. God also pleaded for His people to help us get to the land of our calling. While we have been confident of our future as missionaries to Finland, it was overwhelming to physically hear the Lord speak so emphatically about His call, the hungry souls, and, especially, His plea for financial help. We are so grateful for the spoken confirmation.
(Matthew 9:18-31 CEV) "While Jesus was still speaking, an official came and knelt in front of him. The man said, "My daughter has just now died! Please come and place your hand on her. Then she will live again." Jesus and his disciples got up and went with the man. A woman who had been bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and barely touched his clothes. She had said to herself, "If I can just touch his clothes, I will get well." Jesus turned. He saw the woman and said, "Don't worry! You are now well because of your faith." At that moment she was healed. When Jesus went into the home of the official and saw the musicians and the crowd of mourners, he said, "Get out of here! The little girl isn't dead. She is just asleep." Everyone started laughing at Jesus. But after the crowd had been sent out of the house, Jesus went to the girl's bedside. He took her by the hand and helped her up. News about this spread all over that part of the country. As Jesus was walking along, two blind men began following him and shouting, "Son of David, have pity on us!" After Jesus had gone indoors, the two blind men came up to him. He asked them, "Do you believe I can make you well?" "Yes, Lord," they answered. Jesus touched their eyes and said, "Because of your faith, you will be healed." They were able to see, and Jesus strictly warned them not to tell anyone about him. But they left and talked about him to everyone in that part of the country."
Do you have a testimony?During one of our recent services, a team member asked that Mark pray for him to be released from the addiction of cigarettes. We received a letter last week that spoke of his testimony; he has not smoked a cigarette since the night he joined with Mark in prayer for his request. To God be the glory!
