	UPCI Missionaries to Finland
	(Philippians 3:14) “I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.” (NLT)

December 2009 will mark the end of our second year of deputation, marking just four more months left in our schedule! Our family is working to complete our budget needs for a 4-year term in the country of Finland, and we are excited about what God has been doing to prepare us for the work there. As recently as August 2009), there have been reports of Finns being baptized in Jesus' Name and receiving the Holy Ghost. We have also made contact with a Finnish family who is planning to connect us with friends and family members in the Helsinki area. The time for ministry to this country is at hand!

We urge you to be a part of what God is doing, and will do, in Finland. God has spoken and proclaimed that He will have a bride, and that there are many hungry souls there. Please, take a moment, read about our vision, and then prayerfully consider being a part of TEAM FINLAND. Our family cannot logically reach this great country alone; as He has called us to go, this means that we are the facilitators of His vision. Our concept was birthed in prayer; hence, we know that it will work.

TEAM FINLAND is comprised of three parts, all of which play a vital role in the salvation of that country. We need INTERCESSORS (FIT) who will pray with us, HELPERS (AIM) who will join us overseas, and financial EQUIPPERS (PIM) who will help us get the Good News to the people of Finland. If you long to be a part of something great that will have significant, eternal impact, we again urge you to consider being a part of His team in Finland. (We've tried to  be as liberal in our provision of information as possible; if you notice that we've left out something important, please let us know!)

We firmly believe in the need for communication, which is why we do our best to connect with our team members at least once a month, although this may not always occur, simply because our schedule is hectic and we may not have the opportunity to do so. Our e-newsletters are sent every 1-2 months and are designed to keep you updated on our progress, as well as inform you about the country to which we are going. We love connecting with new people, and are providing pictorial snapshots of our travels through our deputation picture pages; new pictures are added about once a month. They will give you glimpses into the life of a traveling missionary family (well...ours, at least)! Our victory reports and prayer requests are updated on the FIT member page, and we also maintain a blog (links are provided below). We hope that you'll consider joining our team! God is going to do "amazing" things in Finland, and we invite you to be a part of it with us.
