We have always encouraged our children to have imaginations, enjoy the small things in life...here you see just a taste (literally) of both. (The pic at the left is "food art" (which Candace named "Fred") that we created while dining with the Sheppard family in Millington; the right...a yummy cup of hot chocolate that Candace just "had" to remember.) Yes, it's silly...but laughter doeth good like a medicine, and we love to laugh and have fun together!

Kentucky, April 2008

Our week in Kentucky was short - just one week. We attended Kentucky District Conference, and had just one service scheduled; however, we also visited a house church group (led by Steve and Carol Ryerson) that was packed full of new converts, and heard some amazing testimonies of how God is moving in their midst. (We love to hear of successful, apostolic house churches, as this is how we will "grow" our work in Finland!)

We visited the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln; the 'castle' to the right is owned by a horse breeder (very cool, although we decided that we wouldn't want to have to clean it!)
