| Georgia, July 2008 |
| Our time in Georgia was short - just one
week - but packed with 5 services and family-time! |

| At left: Wanda (L) was introduced to
Pentecost by her backslidden friend, Crystal, and had received the Holy Ghost and been baptized just one
month prior to our arrival. We had the privilege of praying with Crystal; after
repenting and working through self-forgiveness, she was refilled with
the Holy Ghost! We also had the opportunity to minister at a Spanish
daughter-work pastored by Bro. Mina under Bishop Alonzo Terry. Fun experience! |

| We had the chance to become friends with
Bro. and Sis. Sam Latta. We had met Bro. Latta while in Estonia; he had
traveled to the Baltics in order to hold a series of teaching sessions.
However, he became extremely ill from food poisoning and had a
near-death experience while in Tallinn. We were so happy to see him
again (and in great health, smile)! We also visited
with one of Mark's
nephews (John Alphin) and his family, and took the opportunity to do a
little sightseeing while we got better acquainted. Mark is the youngest
of twelve children, so there are many family members that we rarely
see. |

| Florida, August 2008 |
| We thoroughly enjoyed our time in
Florida. Our family stayed in one place the entire two weeks, which made
it nice. All of our services were within 1.5 hours, so we were able to
limit our traveling expenses, too (which is always a great thing)! Both
Pastors Webb and Braneff have chosen to reach 0ut into their community
with Adopt-A-Block and Back to School Bash, respectively. We hope to
learn more about these types of evangelistic endeavors, and adapt such
ideas overseas. |

| We had the
opportunity to experience "family time" while in Florida, visiting with
one of Mark's nieces and her family. We had two weeks in Florida, and as
the schedule wasn't full, we took time to relax in the midst of summer
schoolwork and projects. At the start of deputation, we promised the
girls that we would do our best to experience something "fun" in each
state. The USA is full of many wonderful places, and while we
travel, we plan to make the most of it and see as much of our beloved
country as possible. Our
little excursions make for great family time and wonderful memories, and
make the time spent "on the road" much more enjoyable. |

| We are sad to say that we have no
pictures from Mark's week in Alabama. Mom and the girls had to head
north so that Miranda and Candace could attend MK Retreat 2008. (Daddy
"sort of forgot" to buy a throw-away camera...) |
