| Although the grass is green in the pictures above, this is not the
only color that brings beauty to the countryside. The following pictures were
taken at a time when the weather was not quite so warm (and was what
we became rather "used to" during our term)! |

Sirgala
A new work birthed during our term
— Praise God!
|
|
National Minister Vadim Orlov and former Sirgala resident,
'Lena, were very instrumental in assisting with the birthing of this
work. As we cannot yet speak Russian, it would have been
impossible without Vadim's help; his son, Oleg, was our "right hand
man," interpreting for us whenever possible. Vadim and Oleg
are working side-by-side to continue the work in Sirgala; they are
also opening new preaching points in their district. God has
His hand on them, and we expect great things to happen in Ida-Virumaa! |
   |
|
Our first service was held on 12/17/05. |

First Children’s Bible Class 3/06: Learning about King Josiah, singing Father Abraham,
making crowns to wear — this was a first for the kids, and we
had a "blast!" |

During our time in Sirgala, there were 2 filled with the Holy Ghost and a number of villagers experienced numerous healings. Below are pictures from our final service
held on June 10, 2006; we were blessed by the 2006 UPCI
Next Steps program participants
who helped with the Evangelism service. |

Touring the Narva Castle with Oleg and Vadim |
   |
|
This is the only place in the world where opposing castles stand
side-by-side.
The pictures are taken from the Estonian side showing the
Russian castle in the distance.
The Narva (Narova) River flows
between them. |
